Here are some pictures of dolls I've worked on recently of different sizes (from 7" up to 21") and varied designs.
Maybe one of these days I'll pick a few favorites and stick to them; it would certainly speed up my doll production rate if I did and, I have to admit, I sometimes drive myself a bit crazy constantly revising and tweaking my patterns.
But for now...so many ideas and techniques yet untried...:)
Handcrafted Waldorf inspired dolls. Each doll is uniquely designed and lovingly created by me over many hours. I use natural materials like soft cotton, clean, warm wool and a variety of natural fibers for the hair. Eco-friendly and non toxic for our children. I hope my dolls bring as much happiness to others as I have in creating them! Handmade in the USA

Because
Because I believe that all children bear the image of God
Because I believe that every child deserves and has the right to:
protection
love
security
hope
a family
an inheritance
No matter their age, nationality, gender or abilities
Because I feel that no child should ever feel alone or abandoned
Ours and theirs
forever
Because my live has been immeasurably blessed by it
Because adoption was a big motivation for starting sweetLamb dolls...
A way of saving for another adoption
and a way of encouraging others who are in-process
Because of Because...
sweetLamb dolls will be donating one sweetLamb doll for every ten that sell to a fundraising
family in the adoption process or towards a waiting child's grant fund.
If you are a fundraising adoptive family and would like to be added to the list of potential winners please send an email to sweetlambdolls@gmail.com.
Please include the link to your fundraising page and the name of your adoption agency.I will share the link to your fundraising blog here if/when you are announced as the winner. Every family will have an equal chance as I will draw from the compiled list randomly when there is a doll to donate.
Each donated doll may be sold by you you either by auction (via ebay) or by raffle style on your personal fundraising blog.
If you are not adopting, but know of a family who is, please feel free to share this post.
I only request that:
potential families are currently signed to an adoption agency and have a referred child,
the funds from the doll be used only for direct adoption expenses,
the winner covers the shipping charges as applicable,
and that a link to sweetLamb dolls is included.
I know it's not much considering the major expenses of the adoption process, but I also know that if we all do what we can it will (and does!) make a difference!
Because I want others to feel as blessed as I am...
